At 4:21 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, March 19, Lexington Park Rescue Squad and the St. Mary’s County Advance Life Support Unit were dispatched to a residence in Lord Calvert Trailer park for a 10 year old girl with burns to her chest from hot water.
The EMS crews arrived on the scene and requested Trooper 7 at 4:33 p.m. with the landing zone at Great Mills High School.
The child was flown to DC’s Children’s hospital.
