Glen Burnie, MD —ย The Anne Arundel County Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) involved in the death of a man found dead in a vehicle last weekend.

On Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 4:43 p.m., the Anne Arundel officers responded to the 800 block of Aquahart Road, Glen Burnie, Maryland for a possible subject in a vehicle and found an unresponsive man in the vehicle. He was pronounced deceased by personnel from the fire department.

The Homicide and Evidence Collection Unit responded to the scene in an attempt to positively identify the male remains and also determine if foul play was involved. The human remains were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner so an autopsy could be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. The vehicle was secured and processed where several items of evidentiary value were collected.

After conducting an autopsy, Chief Medical Examiner determined that the cause of death was homicide.ย 

With the assistance of the Latent Fingerprint Unit, police were able to positively identify the victim as 56 year old Brian Gary Gifford.

The Anne Arundel County Police is offering a REWARD of up to $10,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) involved in the murder of Brian Gifford.
