At 5:15 a.m. Nov. 3, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the parking lot of Gallery Place Apartments in the 3000 block of Gallery Place in Waldorf for the report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 17-year-old Waldorf boy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was flown to Prince George’s Hospital Center and was treated for his injuries.
Officers identified the apartment where the shooting occurred and investigation revealed a party had been occurring in the apartment around the time of the shooting. The identity of the suspect and the motive for the shooting are under investigation.
