At 6:45 p.m. July 6, Abraheim Mohamed Zarti, 21 of Bryans Road, was killed in a crash on Route 210 near Matthews Road in Bryans Road.
The Maryland State Police LaPlata barracks reports Sharon Glisson, 67 of Waldorf, was traveling north in a Toyota Camry on Route 210 at Matthews Road stopping to execute a left turn from the crossover.
Zarti was traveling southbound Route 210 when Glisson initiated the left turn pulling into the path of the Suzuki motorcycle.
Zarti’s bike collided into the rear quarter panel of the Camry. The impact ejected the cyclist who sustained fatal injuries.
The investigation is being conducted by troopers from the La Plata State Police Barrack.
Glisson was taken to Civista Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
