WHITE PLAINS, Md. — A 45-year-old road worker was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Friday morning in White Plains.

The incident was reported around 8:55 a.m. on May 1, 2026, in the area of Marshall’s Corner Road.

Initial reports indicated the worker was performing road work when he was hit by a vehicle. Emergency responders arriving on scene found the man suffering from significant injuries, including trauma to the head and a broken leg, along with heavy bleeding.

Fire and EMS personnel initiated advanced life support measures and requested a helicopter. MSP Aviation Command Trooper 2 transported the patient to MedStar Washington Hospital Center with serious injuries.

No additional details about the circumstances of the crash or the condition of the worker have been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
