45-year-old charged with assaulting student on school bus

A Lanham resident was charged with second degree assault for hitting a student on a school bus.

Prince George’s Police detectives said Owoade Elusanni, 45, repeatedly struck a 19-year-old student on a bus in the parking lot of C. Elizabeth Rieg Regional School in Mitchellville on Sept. 2. The student did not suffer serious injuries.

Elusanni was the caretaker for another student on the bus.
