OPENING DAY, Sunday, April 26th, 2015 marked the 69th anniversary of the Charles- St. Mary’s Men’s Baseball League (CHASM) as it was the beginning of a new exciting season. The CHASM Baseball League has provided Southern Maryland locals the opportunity to continue their lifelong dream while playing one of America’s favorite pastime sports at the competitive level. The close knit league consists of 7 teams all from the Southern Maryland area: Bayhawks (St. Mary’s), Black Sox (Charles), Bumpy Oak (Charles), Cubs (Charles), St. Mary’s(St. Mary’s), Storm (Prince George’s) and Western Charles (Charles). The league looks to continue its longtime tradition by having yet another successful season in 2015.
