On Feb. 28, BPOElks Lodge 2092 as part of its year-long fundraising efforts to support the Wounded warrior Project are holding a 9-Pin No-Tap bowling tournament. 9 Pin No-Tap means that nine pins on first ball count as a strike. This type of contest is great fun for everyone and goes to a very worthwhile cause.
The tournament is to anyone and there will be cash prizes for the top three menโs and womenโs teams over a three game series. The amount of the cash prizes will be determined by the number of entries. The tournament will be held at Esperanza Lanes located at 22645 Three Notch Rd in Lexington Park. Sign-in begins at 11:45 a.m. with the competition starting to roll at 12:30 p.m.
There is still room for more competitors. Each lane will be limited to 5 people and individuals and and teams are welcome to compete. The cost of the contest is $25 an does not include show rental. The lodge is located at 45779 Fire Department Lane in California. All proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project.
The Wounded Warrior Project is a global fundraising effort to provide aid and assistance to those who have given one of the ultimate sacrifices to help Americans citizens stay free from harm from their enemies. Every dollar raised counts toward hundreds of different Wounded Warrior Project assistance programs.
