UPDATE 9:55 A.M.: The bus at the accident scene had no children on board and was used to block traffic at Expedition Park and Route 235. The Jeep involved had its right rear wheel ripped from the undercarriage and an older Ford was damaged. No one was transported from the scene. The intersection has reopened.
UPDATE 9 A.M.: All northbound traffic is being diverted into Expedition Park around the accident at this time.
There has been accident at the intersection of Rt. 235 and Expedition Park Drive in Lexington Park. The accident happened on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at approximately 8:50 a.m. TBN is headed toward the scene. More information will follow as it is available.
