At approximately 4:04 am rescue personnel from the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department and Lexington Park Volunteer Rescue Squad responded to a motor vehicle accident on Willows Road in Lexington Park.
Upon arrival, officers found a single vehicle had run into a tree. One patient, the driver, had to be extricated from the vehicle. It is unknown at this time why the driver left the roadway. The patient was transported to Medstar St. Mary’s hospital.
