UPDATE:
At 7:42 P.M. on Friday, March 9, 2012, rescue crews were dispatched to the 29000 block of Point Lookout Road for the personal injury accident. Crews arrived on scene to find one vehicle in the road way, and one off the road in a fence line. Crews went to work securing the vehicles and assessing the involved personnel. It was decided that one patient would be transported by ground to the local emergency department and the other patient would be flown to a trauma center do to being in critical condition. The final fire/EMS unit cleared the scene at 8:12 while police remained on scene to conduct an investigation of the incident.

At 7:41PM a call went out with a report of a two vehicle accident at the 29000 block of Point Lookout Road in Morganza. Two patients required medical attention. One patient was transferred to St. Mary’s Medstar Hospital and one has been flown out with a tramatic head injury to PG Shock Trauma.
