UPDATE: The southbound lane of Route 4 in the area of Calvert Beach Road is now fully reopened.
ST. LEONARD, Md. – At approximately 3:50 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the motor vehicle accident on Rt. 4 southbound in the area of Calvert Beach Road. Upon arrival, units confirmed that Ambulance 79 from the St. Leonard Volunteer Fire Department had been involved in the accident.
We do not currently know the status of any potential injuries at this time.
