LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — One patient is being flown out following an accident that took place this afternoon in Lexington Park.
At approximately 4:45 PM, first responders were alerted to a motor vehicle accident off of Three Notch Road in the area of Kessler Way.
Upon arrival, crews discovered two vehicles involved in a collision, with one of the vehicles sustaining major damage to the front end.
EMS made a determination soon after that one of the occupants should be flown to a nearby trauma center after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries. Another patient involved in the accident signed a refusal of care.
