CALLAWAY, Md. – At approximately 2:30 p.m., police, fire and rescue personnel responded to the motor vehicle accident involving a tractor on Piney Point Road in the area of St. Mary’s Automotive in Callaway.
Police are now on the scene directing traffic with one lane open on Piney Point Road.
Crews arrived to find the Ford f-150 and the tractor involved in the collision. The tractor operator is being assessed by EMS.
MEDEVAC has been requested for the operator of the tractor.
According to a St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Deputy on the scene the tractor crossed the road in front of the Ford pick-up.
Use caution in the area, and stay alert for emergency vehicles.
