After a three-month investigation, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office raided the Charlotte Hall home of John Edward Burch Jr., 43, and allegedly found 2 oz. of marijuana.
On Friday, members of the St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations Narcotics Unit and the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit executed a search and seizure warrant and seized 58 grams of marijuana (with an estimated street value $300.00), $209 in U.S. currency, a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle, and a cellular phone.
Burch was arrested and taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a hearing with the District Court Commissioner.
