Alexander Chiropractic Center has been serving and keeping Southern Maryland well-adjusted for over a decade. To better serve its clientele, the chiropractic firm has two locations open Monday through Friday. One clinic is located in California and the other in Solomons.

Appointments are available as late as 7 p.m. to accommodate just about anyone’s work schedule. In addition to general chiropractic services, Alexander Chiropractic provides care for personal injury and workers compensation cases.

The center was founded by Dr. Daniel W. Alexander who has been in active -practice in Southern Maryland for over 12 years.  He is originally from Keyport, NJ. Alexander is a 1993 graduate of Salisbury University in Salisbury with a B.S. in biology. He then received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1997 from Life University in Atlanta, GA.  Alexander did his Internship in Farkas Health Center in St. Petersburg, FL.  After completion of his state board, he moved to Southern MD.  Alexander Chiropractic Center has been open in southern MD since April 2000.

Joining the practice in 2001 was Dr. Lawrence G. Smallwood who was born and raised in Fairmont, WV.  He graduated from West Virginia University in 1994, where he studied his pre-chiropractic requirements with a B.S. in exercise physiology.  Smallwood attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX and graduated in 1998 with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.  After graduation Smallwood moved to Southern MD and worked for several large successful family and personal injury practices.  In Sept. 2001 Smallwood became part of the Alexander Chiropractic Center team, as a supervising doctor at the California location.
