A call went out to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office around 6:40am EST on Monday morning for a vehicle accident at the 8700 block of Dubois Road in Dentsville. Police found that a buggy, carrying two passengers was struck by a vehicle.
Charles County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Diane Richardson told TheBAYNET that a man and a girl, somewhere around the age 11-14, were on the buggy. The girl was flown out to a nearby hospital. Richardson said her injuries are not life threatening. The man was treated on the scene.
Richardson said the Charles County Sheriff’s Office is still awaiting a report with more details on the accident.
