At 9:20 p.m. March 31, Tpr. G. White of the Leonardtown trooper barrack responded to Dean Way, Mechanicsville, for a reported assault.
The victim said he and his girlfriend’s ex got into an argument on the telephone, and then the man came to his home and punched him several times in the face.
The victim received lacerations to the face. Blood splatter was observed on the wall and floor.
The investigation is continuing.
