On May 23, at 10 p.m. Sdfc. M. Boyer responded to the area of Bristol Ave., Lexington Park, for the report of a disorderly subject.
Upon arrival Dep. Boyer observed John O. Dickens Jr., 18 of Great Mills, sitting on the curb of the roadway shouting obscenities and racial slurs at officers as they approached the area.
Dickens was directed to cease his actions several times by the officers and refused. Dickens then spat on Deputy Boyer and was subsequently placed under arrest, charged with Disorderly Conduct, Assault on Police Officer and incarcerated in the Detention center pending a bond hearing before the District Court Commissioner.
