
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – On June 26, the Annapolis Police Department responded to Louis Drive for the report of a stolen vehicle. At 7:36 p.m. the vehicle owner reported that he left his 2003 Toyota with the engine running, keys in the ignition and unlocked for a few minutes when he saw two male suspects get in the vehicle and drive off down Louis Drive, a dead end street.
The victim chased after the vehicle on foot and the driver lost control of the vehicle striking a gate in front of a house on Louis Drive. The driver and passenger fled the vehicle on foot towards Forest Drive. Officers were able to locate two possible suspects in the area of Belle Drive at Greenbriar Lane. They were identified as the suspects and the 16-year-old and 15-year-old males, both from Annapolis, were charged on juvenile citations and released to their guardians.
