Solomons, MD –Thanks to the wonderful support of local artists and donors in the community Patuxent Habitat for Humanity is show casing The 7th Annual Recycled Art Show & Benefit Auction. The event will take place on Saturday May 2 at Our Lady Star of the Sea’s Providence Room, located at 90 Alexander Lane, Solomons from 6:30 to 9 pm.

On sale now for only $25 and includes entry to our event, a complimentary glass of wine or beer, a delicious selection of light fare catered by Elements Eatery & Mixology, and music by DJ Johnny G. Your eyes will be satisfied by the beautiful works of art and your hearts will be filled with the joy of spending a wonderful evening with friends while giving back. All proceeds help support the Patuxent Habitat for Humanity mission of serving our community by providing decent, safe, affordable homes.
Local artists will use their talents to transform items from the Patuxent Habitat for Humanity ReStore into art. The art show will include a silent auction for the objects created by the artists. Past creative silent action pieces have included furniture, ceramics, art objects, jewelry and textiles.
About Patuxent Habitat for Humanity ReStore
Donated items help those in need twice. All donations to the ReStore are tax-deductible. The donations from individuals and businesses provide affordable home furnishings and building materials for others; divert reusable building materials from landfills; and generate funds to build additional Habitat homes in our community.
