St. Mary’s County BCI detectives investigating an alleged Feb. 14 armed robbery on Liberty Street in Lexington Park, determined the robbery did not occur.
On March 12, detectives charged a 17-year-old juvenile from Lexington Park with Making a False Statement to a Police Officer. The juvenile had originally reported that he had been robbed at gunpoint while walking to his home.
