Student actors in Charles County’s six public high schools are preparing for fall plays, which begin next month. The following is a list of school plays, ticket and contact information for each high school.
La Plata High School will present “And A Child Shall Lead,” on Nov. 4-6, 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and $4 for thespians. Charles County Public Schools staff is admitted free with their identification badge. Call 301-934-1100 for more information.
Maurice J. McDonough High School students are presenting Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland,” Nov. 12-14. Performance times are 7 p.m., Nov. 12-13, and 2 p.m., Nov. 13-14. Henry E. Lackey High School students are presenting “Auschwitz Lullaby,” on Nov. 19-20 at 7 p.m., and Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. The performance is intended for audiences over the age of 12. Ticket prices are $8 for adults, $7 for senior citizens and military members, and $6 for thespians. School system employees can receive two tickets by providing their staff identification badge.

Students at Thomas Stone High School are presenting D.W. Gregory’s “Radium Girls,” the weekend of Nov. 18-20.
