On Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 9:54 pm, Tpr. K. Shughart responded to Cryer Road, Avenue for a reported juvenile out of control call.
Investigation revealed that a 17 year old had become upset over the breakup with his girlfriend and was arguing with the victims. The 17 year old retrieved a loaded shotgun and told the victims that he was going to shoot them.
One victim was able to talk the 17 year old into handing him the shotgun. No injuries occurred.
The 17 year old was arrested and charged with 2 counts of assault. The juvenile was released into the custody of his parents pending disposition by Juvenile Justice Authorities.
