The Maryland State Fire Marshall’s Southern Regional office is investigating an arson case in Port Tobacco.
Units were dispatched for report of a fire at 9200 Poorhouse Road in Port Tobacco on Sept. 30, at 10:30 a.m.
Investigators arrived on the scene to find a mailbox at that address intentionally set on fire.

Charles County Sheriffs are assisting with the investigation.
