Maryland State Fire Marshall’s are investigating a case of arson in Charles County that occurred on June 29 at 2:52 p.m.
A Maryland State Trooper discovered the blaze located at 1156 Harvard Drive in Waldorf in a 10′ x 20′ wood framed shed owned by David and Melia Mattox.
Firefighters responded to the scene and were able to quickly control the blaze.
Investigation revealed the fire was determined to be incendiary from suspect(s) igniting combustibles inside the shed. The shed was completely destroyed.
Damage estimate is ringing in at $5,000.00
