Waldorf, MD – At about 2:35 a.m. on Feb. 5 a trailer was discovered engulfed in flames by a passing driver.
The enclosed cargo trailer was reportedly stolen on Jan. 26 and was towed to a remote location on Covington Road and intentionally set on fire.
The Hughesville VFD responded to the call and controlled the fire in 10 minutes.
The fire began inside the trailer and the damage is estimated at $5,000.
