Solomons, MD – Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center in Solomons, will host Artist In Action: artists in their natural habitat, from Jan. 17 through March 3.
Twenty-one artists from Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, working in a variety of media, will set up temporary studio spaces and invite guests to observe and participate in their creative process.
The goal of the program is to expose visitors to the working process of artists, with particular emphasis on the tools and the creative process.
Each artist has created a hands-on activity, suitable for all ages, that will provide guests with a sense of the methods and materials that artists use. Tour the gallery to observe the artists at work, and then join them in the creative process as you use their materials, tools, and techniques.
