Bureau of Criminal Investigation Vice narcotics detectives received information into the possible distribution of marijuana at a Leonardtown shopping center. As the investigation continued David Thomas Herzog, 20 of California emerged as a suspect. Suspect Herzog was observed in the Leonardtown area conducting drug activities. He was stopped by detectives and marijuana as well as nearly $1,400 was seized. A Search and Seizure Warrant was executed on his California home where additional items were recovered. Suspect Herzog’s 2007 Dodge was also seized. Additional charges are pending a
review with State’s Attorney Richard D. Fritz. The investigation continues.
