The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred on Oct. 6, at 4:50 p.m.

As a community bus came to a stop at the intersection of

Davis Road and Lexington Drive in Waldorf, the victim, a 16-year-old male passenger was using his cell phone to send a text message. The suspect approached the victim and grabbed the cell phone from the victim’s hand. The suspect exited the bus and fled. The victim followed him and confronted him on Davis Road near Proctor Place. As they were arguing about the theft, another suspect approached the victim from behind and struck him several times. Both suspects then fled on foot.

The suspect from the bus is described as a black male between 17 and 19 years of age. He is 5-feet 11-inches tall, weighs about 210 pounds and was wearing a black North Face jacket. The other suspect is a black male about 18-years old.
