Carrie Cabral is a lifelong writer and reader who loves to tell important stories of everyday people who do incredible things. Raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Carrie worked in book publishing and marketing before becoming a journalist. She lived in Boston and New York before settling in Maryland with her family, and holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in writing. Carrie is dedicated to uplifting the community and telling stories that challenge the powerful. When she's not working, you can find her reading, spending time with family, or enjoying the outdoors in Southern Maryland.
