On March 24 at 4:22 p.m., officers responded to a tattoo shop in the 11700 block of Central Avenue in Waldorf for the report of an assault that just occurred. The investigation revealed an employee of the shop asked the suspect to leave because the suspect brought a baby inside the business. The suspect began arguing with the victim and soon after, the argument turned into an altercation. The employee grabbed a stun-gun that was inside the store and told the suspect to leave. The suspect then pulled out a handgun and threatened the victim. The suspectโ€™s friends, who were in the business, convinced him to leave and they fled in a car. Officers canvassed the area and located the suspectโ€™s vehicle nearby. They initiated a traffic stop and arrested the suspect, Terence Andrew Dyson, 19, of Waldorf. Officers found a handgun inside his car. He was charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. He was remanded to the Charles County Detention Center with a $50,000 bond. PFC J. Foster is investigating.
