Solomons, MD โ€“ Thereโ€™s a new arrival at Calvert Marine Museum (CMM). According to CMM Director Doug Alves, an 8-week-old female otter is now at the museum. Alves made the announcement via e-mail to several recipients, including The BayNet, Friday afternoon, April 8.

The otter is known as โ€œBubbles #5โ€ (aka Chesie-Grace.โ€ Alves stated the otter โ€œneeds to be bottle-fed every four hoursโ€ and โ€œwill not go on display for a few months. But she will be on display at the Bugeye Ball, especially to those donors to the otter holding area renovations and those who helped pay to bring this little fur ball to Solomons.โ€

In October of 2014, CMM lost its previous โ€œBubbles,โ€ who passed away after 11 years at the museum.
