Waldorf, MD — The Back-to-School Community Fiesta will offer free school supplies and plenty of safety tips for kids in Waldorf this weekend.
Kids K-12 are invited to attend the festival at Mattawoman Middle School located at 10145 Berry Road in Waldorf on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The first 200 children to arrive will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies. The event will focus on helping kids stay safe by offering tips on saying no to bullying, drugs, and texting and driving.
Light refreshments will be served. Children need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
