Lexington Park, MD – Deputy A. Cole responded to the IHOP located in Lexington Park, for the report of crowd control with disorderly individuals.
The suspect, Joel Lenard Butts II, age 23 of Lexington Park, refused to leave the establishment after several requests from officers. Butts was placed under arrest and was given multiple commands to stop resisting and to put his hands behind his back. Butts was arrested and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
He was charged with Trespassing, Disturbing the Peace, Failure to Obey and Resisting Arrest. CASE# 1-15-062268
