At 9:19 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, TFC J. Linger stopped a vehicle for having an improper tag light on Route 235 at Route 245, Hollywood.
Upon contact with the occupants of the vehicle an odor of marijuana was detected. During a probable cause search, a bag of marijuana was retrieved.
Passenger, Carlos Edward Young, 22, of Mechanicsville, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of CDS Paraphernalia. He was taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and held pending a bail review.
