At the Bay Community Support Services, Inc. (BAY-CSS) Annual Board Meeting held on August 5, 2014 in Prince Frederick, new officers were elected for the FY2015 term. BAY-CSS is a full-service agency that provides comprehensive, support services for people with disabilities in Maryland. The agency provides services that are designed to promote the skills of people with varying abilities, ages and life situations to live and work successfully in their communities. The values of independence, choice and self-determination are emphasized. These services include residential support provided in agency group homes and also in privately-owned homes, employment services, nursing care, transportation, and much more. The services offered are customized to the individual’s personal needs. BAY-CSS serves over 195 individuals with developmental disabilities in Anne Arundel, Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s Counties, Maryland.
BAY-CSS’ current Board of Directors and its Executive Director, Mitzi Bernard, would like to extend a special thank you to Michael Mead, Mike Quinn and Cathy Lavender who volunteered to remain officers for the next term.
