Trooper W. Scarlett responded to Best Buy in Waldorf for a reported theft on Monday. William A. Krell, 23 of Charlotte Hall, had cut the anti-theft device of a cell phone accessory with wire cutters.
Krell was arrested and charged with willfully and maliciously destroying an electronic anti-theft device.
