Fair prices and fresh inventory has made Time-n-Again Antiques a favorite haunt for antique shoppers as well as those who enjoy something vintage.ย  Itโ€™s also an attractive choice for people who like the concept of re-using serviceable items as a means of being a more environmentally friendly shopper.

The inviting store front sits in a very busy section of the oldest part of Waldorf.ย  Once inside youโ€™ll find ย two floors of furniture, textiles, household items and handmade candles at your disposal.ย  Also, prepare to meet Stubby, an adorable and friendly tortoise-shell calico cat, the store mascot.

โ€œSome people come just to see her,โ€ Mrs. Jameson said of the cat.

Mrs. Brenda Jameson owns and runs the store with her husband.ย  The couple make a well-balanced team, each doing jobs the other is less fond of.ย  Mr. Jameson enjoys going to auctions and finding the items then repairing them.ย  Mrs. Jameson prefers dealing with the inventory and working in the store.

The prices in the store seem decidedly fair compared to other antique stores in the area, so The Bay Net asked Mrs. Jameson how they come to their pricing.

She replied, โ€œOur philosophy is we donโ€™t want to die with it.ย  My husband says he doesnโ€™t want them to take the wood from the furniture and make his coffin with it.โ€

The Jamesonโ€™s have been collecting antiques for about eighteen years.ย  When their children reached school age, the couple opened their first shop in Glen Burnie.ย  Eventually, they settled into their current location in Old Waldorf.

Mrs. Jameson feels that Waldorf is a great location for her store because people from all over Southern Maryland are drawn to the townโ€™s high concentration of restaurants and large-scale retail.ย  While people are in town for other things, they stop by Time-n-Again.ย  However, the location does have its drawbacks.

โ€œRent is so high in Waldorf,โ€ Mrs. Jameson told The Bay Net.ย  โ€œYouโ€™re seeing fewer and fewer antique shops.โ€

The Jamesonโ€™s son, Martin, created the shopโ€™s website.ย  They make certain itโ€™s updated with all the newly arrived products as well as items on sale.ย  They have an email mailing list so you can keep up with promotions and periodic sales.

Youโ€™ll find Time-n-Again Antiques at 3040 Leonardtown Road in Waldorf.ย  The shop is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.ย  You can reach them by phone at 301-645-1535.
