BLADENSBURG, Md. — A police officer was recently arrested on multiple charges that relate to sexually abusing a minor in Baltimore County.
LoQune Lee Brown, 34, was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree sex offense, two counts of sexual abuse of a minor and two counts of second-degree assault.
An investigation by detectives revealed that between July and November 2020, Brown sexually assaulted a juvenile relative at his home on two separate occasions.
Brown turned himself into Baltimore County Police officers today after a warrant was issued for his arrest on April 19, 2021. Police say that the offenses happened when Brown was off-duty and outside of the Bladensburg jurisdiction.
Brown is a Corporal with the Bladensburg Police Department. His department posted the following message on Facebook:
Brown is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on a no-bail status, pending a bail review hearing.
