Leonardtown, MD – Three St. Mary’s County Government buildings have been closed for the balance of the day due to bomb threats received.
The affected buildings (all on the Governmental Center campus in Leonardtown) are:
• Chesapeake
• Garvey Senior Activity Center
• Potomac
County Administration and law enforcement have informed employees in the affected buildings to go home as the buildings will remain open for regular business hours tomorrow (Tuesday, June 2).
All other buildings on the campus will remain open for the balance of the work day.
