At 8:14 p.m. June 18, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Lancaster Circle and Bluebird Drive in Waldorf for the report of a fight.
Investigation revealed the victim, a 16-year-old Waldorf boy, was riding his bicycle when he was approached by a group of teenagers who demanded the bike.
The victim refused to give the teens the bike; they assaulted him and fled the area. The victim received minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
The suspects were described only as seven black males and one Hispanic male. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contract the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777. Officer L. Payne is investigating.
