On May 20, Deputy Eric Walker of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in California after a 911 call was received advising that an assault was taking place.
Once on the scene Deputy Walker’s investigation revealed that Charles Bryan Jones, 43, of California had assaulted his sister and made threats with a knife.
Jones was arrested and charged with assault.
