PNC Waterside Pavilion, Solomonโs, MD- Unseasonably cool temperatures ushered in the final concert at The Calvert Marine Museumโs Summer Concert Series at PNC Waterside Pavilion. However, that didnโt stop several thousand fans from flocking to see local musicians Robbie Boothe(Hollywood) and headliner Brothers Osborne (Deale, MD) along with up and coming Nashville artist, Tucker Beathard.ย ย
As the crowds spilled in, a few announcements were made before surprise guest Larry Hogan took the stage to introduce Boothe and his band. The Governor talked about how Boothe and Brothers Osborne have helped take Southern Maryland music into the National spotlight. Also, on this night the Governor presented both groups with Governorโs Citation for their work.
Earlier in the day, Boothe released his new album โBlindfoldโ. For the better part of the next hour, Boothe and his band delighted the crowd with his music, before up and coming Nashville artist Tucker Beathard took the stage.
Beathard, the son of Nashville singer Casey Beathard and brother of NFL QB C J. Beathard; delighted the fans with his country vocals. As the night wore on, temps chilling slightly and darkness descending upon Solomonโs; the crowd began anticipating the headliners.
Around 9 p.m., Brothers Osborne took to the stage. The 2017 Academy of Country Music Award winners of Vocal Duo of the Year and Vocal Group or Duo of the Year, began rocking the crowds. Several thousand fans singing and jumping to every beat. Playing hit singles such as โIt ainโt my Faultโ and โ21 Summerโ, the Brothers Osbourne kept the crowds moving.

As the night ended, it began to become apparent that this summerโs concert series may have been the best yet. In 22 years of performances, PNC Waterside Pavilion has hosted The Beach Boys, Peter Frampton, Rascal Flatts, Big & Rich, Trace Adkins, Tobey Keith, and much more. But some may say that the richness of local Southern Maryland Music closing the season out topped it all.
