Sdfc. S. Simonds responded to the Leonard Hall Junior Naval Academy, Leonardtown, for the report of an assault on a school bus on March 13.
Investigation revealed a 17-year-old juvenile from Ryken High School struck the 13-year-old from the Junior Naval Academy in the forehead unprovoked.
The 17 year old was placed under arrest and charged with Assault Second Degree and released to a parent pending further action by juvenile authorities.
