On Feb. 1, Deputy Reithmeyer responded to a building on Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown, for a report of a burglary.
Investigation revealed Charles Franklin Worthey, 22 of Texarkana, AR, broke into a building belonging to the owner of LeGrande Estates. Worthey was witnessed consuming alcoholic beverages at the Brass Rail the night before the burglary. Deputy Reithmeyer found clothing and Worthey’s wallet containing his identification inside the building. The wallet and clothing was not inside the building when the building was last secured.
Worthey was arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary and destruction of property.
