Waldorf, MD – On January 12 at 10 a.m., officers responded to the 10400 block of Danwin Court in Waldorf for the report of a burglary.

Investigation showed the victim was at home when she heard glass break in her basement. She went to investigate and observed the basement door was unlocked, the security bar had been moved, and a window was shattered.

She also reported a man knocked on her front door that morning looking for work. The man was described as a black male with a light complexion wearing a tan parka, black pants with white stitching, and a faded blue sweatshirt.ย 

Officers checked the house and nothing was reported stolen.
