At 2:06 p.m. April 24, Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Leonardtown Road in front of Thomas Stone High School for a motor vehicle crash involving a Charles County school bus.
Bus #14, driven by Delores Shugart Shelton, 55, of Waldorf, was attempting to turn left into Thomas Stone High School and failed to yield the right of way to a southbound 1993 Nissan Sentra driven by Christopher Edward Evans, 18, of Waldorf.
The bus was not transporting passengers and no one was injured.
Officer R. Glover of the Traffic Operations Unit investigated.
