Maryland State Police Leonardtown Barrack TFC E. Mersman responded to Upland Dr on August 24 at 2:57 p.m. for a reported disturbance.
Investigation revealed Ronald L. Scruggs, 20, of Bushwood, had assaulted a female victim. He was arrested and charged with Assault – Second Degree and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.
Mr. Scruggs was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
