Burglary
A home on Lindy Lane in Huntingtown was burglarized on June 25 sometime between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Two Xbox 360’s were stolen, one black in color, the other white. Dep. Y. Bortchevsky is investigating.
Theft from Vehicle
Sometime between June 26 and 27 someone entered two vehicles on Silver Rock Road in Lusby and stole a Garmin GPS unit and some money. It is unknown if the vehicles had been locked. DFC R. Weems is investigating.
Fraud
On June 26 a victim advised DFC C. McDonough that she received information from her bank confirming an order for new checks that the victim did not place. It was discovered that an unknown person had ordered the checks on the victim’s account but had them delivered to a different address. DFC McDonough is continuing the investigation.
Destruction of Property
Unknown suspect(s) tampered with the A/C units of several stores on Town Center Boulevard in Dunkirk in an attempt to steal copper. The incidents, which appear to have occurred sometime between June 29 and 30, are being investigated by members of C.I.T.
Theft
Unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked RV that was parked in the driveway of a home on Sante Fe Trail in Lusby during the early morning hours of June 27. A Coastal Tactical flashlight and a Mag Light flashlight were stolen along with a Swiss Army multi tool knife. DFC J. Smith is handling the in
